CANDY MAN: American
Candyman is an urban legend and myth that was based upon a slave who returns from the after life to seek revenge against humans for the wrongful death he faced. The legend states that if you look into a mirror and chant the words "candy man" five times candy man will rise from the dead with bees and blood covered over him and kills you with his hook. Candyman was believed to be alive during slavery and was a slave who worked on a plantation. Candyman's real name was Daniel Robitaille and worked on a plantation in New Orleans. Daniel had many different skills and one of them were painting. Daniel was so good at painting that the master admired his work and he was hired to paint a portrait of his daughter. Daniel and the master's daughter soon fell in love and it wasn't too long before the racist master found out. When the master found out about Daniel and his daughters forbidden love he became furious and quickly gathered up a large angry mob. The mob had various weapons like pitchforks, torches and a pack of growling dogs. The angry mob then began to chase Daniel throughout the town and quickly caught up to Daniel when he became exhausted and decided to rest at a nearby barn. The mob then continued to cut off his right hand with an old rusty saw. The mob didn't stop there though they then began to throw honey onto Daniel's body and threw him into a beehive. Daniel was in terrible pain and died from the injuries but he did not leave earth without cursing the men who killed him. Daniel vowed that he would return and get revenge for his wrongful death. So remember to never say candy man five times or you will regret it.

Freddy Kruger: American
Fredrick Charles Kruger was born in 1951 to a nun, who was unaware of who was the father considering that she was raped many times by over 100 men. Fredrick's mother put him up for adoption with the thought that he would have a better life and that it was the best choice for him, but this decision ended up being one of the worst decisions that was made throughout Fredrick's childhood. Fredrick was adopted by an alcoholic who went by the name of Mr. Underwood, who lived on 1429 Elm Street in Springwood. Mr. Underwood came up with a nickname for him and changed Fredrick's name to Freddy. Mr.Underwood constantly abused Freddy physically, mentally for years. Growing up Freddy was never shown any love or compassion instead he was mocked and tormented. This began to effect Freddy as soon as he started elementary school where he was constantly bullied and mocked by the other children. The children at school even went as far as creating a chant where they would constantly repeat "son of 100 maniacs". Which referred to the fact that his birth mother was raped by over 100 different men and could not tell who Freddy's father was. Instead of fighting back and hurting the other children Freddy proceeded to torture and kill animals like cats, dogs and even the school hamster. When Freddy became a teenager he was able to defend himself against his abusive father Mr. Underwood who he killed and then fled. With Mr. Underwood out of his life Freddy no longer had any negative influences in his life and he was able to recover and go in the right direction. Freddy even got a job as a janitor at a power plant and even got married to a women name Loretta in 1961 and had a child named Kathyrn. But Unfortunately Freddy was involved in committing dozens of murders with all the victims being children. Freddy used his job as an advantage to kidnap the children by luring them to the boiler room. Freddy would lure the children to the boiler room by using an ice cream truck where he would then torture, rape and kill the children. Bodies soon began turning up throughout the town which caused a whirl of panic. In 1966 Freddy's wife then found out about his secret chamber and promised Freddy she would never tell anyone. But Freddy became angry and strangled her to death in front of their daughter Kathryn. For years the murders were unsolved until one day Kathryn gained the courage to tell officials about the disappearance of her mother which connected him to the murders. Freddy was then put into custody for the murders while Kathryn went into foster care with a new identity. While Freddy was on trial officials noticed that his arrest warrant was signed incorrectly and had no choice but to release Freddy. When Freddy was released he went back to the boiler room in order to gather his things as he prepared to flee. But the parents of the victims were furious that Freddy had been released and gathered an angry mob where they would find Freddy hiding in the boiler room. The parents then proceeded to burn down the boiler room with gasoline and cocktails while Freddy was still inside. As Freddy was burning he was approached by three demons who searched for the most evil souls they could find. The demons decided to make a deal with Freddy that they would make dreams turn into reality with a small price. He would live in a dream world were he would be able to get revenge on the parents by playing, killing and torturing their children. Freddy would have to give his soul for eternity, Freddy was feeding for revenge on the parents so he agreed to the deal. Freddy's entire body was horribly burned and the scars stayed on him in this dream world. Freddy now haunts and kills children in their dreams in order to get revenge so whatever you do don't fall asleep.

La Soyana: Venezuelan
La Soyana is an urban legend that developed in the plains of Venezuela. The ghosts original and mortal name was Melissa, she was an extremely beautiful women who had a husband and a son and she lived a very wonderful life. Until one day Melissa decided to bathe in a nearby river but she had a strange encounter with a man who came up to her and told her that her husband had not been loyal to her and that he was sleeping with her mother. Believing the man Melissa then became furious and stormed off back to her house to find her husband and son sleeping in their beds quiet and peacefully. Melissa was unfortunately still in rage about what the man had told her about her husband and decided to make a cruel act. Melissa burned the house down while her husband and son were still inside killing them. Melissa was still in rage and decided to stop by her mothers house where she repeatedly stabbed her to death. But moments before Melissa's mother passed away she cursed Melissa by telling her she would be forced to walk the earth, killing any husbands who were not loyal and cheating on their own wives. Now Melissa walks the earth and is often seen walking up and down various highways trying to lure men into her grasp. She is often able to lure men to her by sometimes shifting into the form of the men's loved ones. After they have been lured into her grasp she sometimes leads the men to a forest or asks for a ride where she revels a rotten skull which showed once where her face was. However either way the men all always meet their painful doom.

Funayueri: Japanese
The legend Funayueri originated in Japan and they are believed to be the causes of people who have died or been lost at sea. The Funayueri name translates to "ship ghost". The Funayueri have many supernatural powers and have the ability to make any amount of ghostly ships appear, they then proceed to lure the captains of the boats or ships off of their original route to their deaths. Sometimes the Funayueri even go onboard by preying on the sailors emotions. Once the Funayueri are on board they then will ask the sailor for a special tool that is called a hishaku which resembles a large spoon or ladle. If the Funayueri are able to get ahold of a hishaku they then flip it over and water starts magically flowing into the boat stopping only when the boat has take too much water. If the boat is usually smaller the Funayueri will just use the hishaku to scoop water into the boat manually until it sinks or overturns. Just one innocent sighting of a Funayurei or their ghostly boat means your doom.

Chindi: Navajo
In Navajo it is believed that there are spirits lurking earth called Chindi that are left behind after a person dies. Navajo are usually created from violence and can be made up of everything bad about the person who died. They can cause illness throughout a family and death upon them in a matter of seconds. Chindis can also be caused by failing to properly honor the burial of a person or even mentioning the deceased person's name out of fear that it will summon the Chindi. Because of this people in Navajo never mention the names of a person who is deceased. Chindis can terrorize families for years and even sometimes decades. Chindis are said to be most likely in the house or possessions of the deceased person. In fear of a chindis haunting and terrorizing after a person has passed away families will normally destroy all possessions that were owned by the person. To even further protect themselves against this spirit they have death befall in large open areas so a chindi would not be created. So remember to always honor and bury your loved ones properly and never say their name or you will face your doom.

The green lady
The green lady is a restless spirit of water who resembles a satyr she is half women and the bottom half of her body a goat. The human side of her has long flowy blonde hair that covers most of her body and has a grey skin complexion. She often tries to hide her animal side by wearing a long green robe. The green lady was murdered by one of her servants and was stuffed into a chimney. In order to get revenge for her wrongful death she wanders up and down trails look for men she can lead to their death by throwing pebbles at them making them go off track. The green lady can often use singing to distract men and lure them to their deaths. Appeasing the green lady can be simple. The green lady loves to drink milk due to the fact that she's a half goat.

Phi Tai Hong: THAILAND
Phi Tai Hongs are ghosts who suffered from cruel and inhumane deaths, and also people who did not receive the proper burial and were left unburied. The strongest form of Phi Tai Hongs ghosts are pregnant women who were murdered or committed suicide. They are the strongest because they have the strength of two people with the unborn baby living inside of her. Phi Tai Hongs are usually created around places where extreme violence has occurred like terrorist attacks and natural disasters. Phi Tai Hongs are usually created in these areas because most of the victims were young and it was not their time to die. In areas where extreme violence have occurred people have created shrines in order to persuade the ghosts to try to leave. Phi Tai Hongs usually try to get revenge by the places they died by waiting for a living person to come by and kill them. Phi Tai Hongs believe that if they kill a living person then they will take its place and free it from spiritual bonding. The only way to get rid of a Phi Tai Hong is by completing a very complicated exorcism.

Churel: Indian
A Churel is a ghost that originated in India and is renowned for its scream. A Churel usually takes the form of a women and is usually created when a pregnant women dies or commits suicide at the Festival of Diwali. The Festival of Diwali is a very popular festival of lights that is the most popular holiday of the year in India. Some people also say that a Churel can be created when a women dies during childbirth. Churels come back to the earth living as a vampire that's bent on revenge because they are angry about their unborn childs death. Churels have feet that are bent 180 degrees in order to mesmerize victims with their eyes. The Churel then lures the victim to a secluded place where they then drain them of blood. The Churels victims are usually members of their own family because they are angry because they blame them for not being properly cared for during their pregnancy.
